MILL COTTAGEOnce a working mill originally built in the early part of the 19th century, this building has been very tastefully reconstructed inside into a cosy cottage. Built of stone with open beams the outside structure has remained intact, but the interior has been redesigned into a very comfortable and modern dwelling.
The mill cottage is in a secluded corner of a private caravan park next to a stream, which eventually runs over the cliffs and on to the sandy beach of Tresaith only 300 meters away. As you enter the cottage the pine fitted kitchen is to the left and has an electric hob and fan oven, microwave, dishwasher and automatic washing machine, fridge and freezer.
There is a pine dining table in this section. The kitchen has a red cardinal tiled floor leading to the slate floor of the lounge. The lounge has a colour television with Freeview. DVD/ CD player.
There is a cottage style three-piece suite and a Captains chair. A multi-fuel stove supplies heating, and is the focal point of the room. All rooms also have the convenience of storage heaters. French windows open out from the lounge onto a patio/ barbecue area with garden furniture. The upper floor consists of two bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom has the original 'A' framed beams, a pine double bed and furniture and a delightful little window, which overlooks the stream below. The second bedroom has adult size cross over pine bunks and furniture with a small window that overlooks the barbeque area.
Both bedrooms also have large Velox windows, which are ideal for stargazing. Electricity, logs and coal for the multi-fuel stove are included as is the linen hire. There is private parking for one car. No smoking or pets allowed in Mill Cottage.
